It's not exactly a hybrid vehicle

We returned to the U.S. on Monday and spent a day in NYC visiting some friends and walking around Manhattan. We got back to Cleveland the next day and then spent a few days unpacking, packing, and visiting relatives in western New York.

Our original plan was to pick up the Penske rental truck on Monday morning and to depart later in the day, but the loading process was complicated and we pushed it back a day. We needed all of the 22' of storage space in the trailer, plus he space in the Civic we are towing behind he truck.

This meant we had a relatively early start today, on the road by around 8. With clear skies and a bonus hour of sunshine, we put in 710 miles and burned around 70 gallons of diesel. This puts us in Stewartsville, MN for the night.
